Author's Note: I wrote this poem at least a year ago (probably longer), and I just dug it up again, so I decided to post it. Thanks for reading!

I lost your picture
and myself
I wandered for days on end
I keep coming back to the same point
You said you'd be there
but you're not
Memories are all I have left
The feelings were lost
and so am I
I retrace my steps
and see where I've been
and where I could've gone
It's too late now
I took too long
So now I'm drifting
I'm wandering
An endless sea of could-have-beens
I'm done waiting
you're far too late again
Will you say you knew me way back when
You lost me
Who will find me?
Get back on the road again
And then
Forget what's lost.
