I walk in, something's different, but I don't know what. I walk to our
usual place, but not one of my friends is there. In their place are new
faces, new people. I apologize for interrupting and move on. I walk
outside. In place of our two wimpy basketball goals is a basketball court,
and you aren't there. Instead, a large group of jocks run around while
cheerleaders scream them on. Scared, I walk back inside. The room starts to
spin as I lose control of whom I see and where I am. A mix of faces fills
my mind, each friendly one replaced with a new, threatening one. Then in
the midst of the spinning, I see you. I reach out and you fade away, a
figment of my mind, in your place she stands. Glaring with a smirk. She has
won and is beginning her reign over my punishment.
