Chapter Six: Rawr Too Lazy to Come Up With a Title, Sorry

We passed through the rest of the forest unharmed after defeating Enkai.

I tried not to think about my predicament with Tatsuke, and also tried to stop worrying about Reeve. I'd figure something out by the end of this game. For now, I could just relax and let things happen.

It was kind of freeing, thinking like that. Just letting my relationships with the people around me grow; not caring about my future choice.

It was too unbearable to think about.

Of course, there were always times I caught myself worrying, but what's to be expected? I'm doing the best I can.

That's all I can do here.

Sometimes, I feel left out. The rest of the party, they've known each other forever, been through this story thousands of times. They know what to do, how to act, and their friendships ran so deeply…

With the exception of Kira and Shegre, of course. She never wasted a moment being idle when she could harass me or try and woo Tatsuke.

I was getting ready to test out my newfound skill with daggers on her.

I was finding all sorts of new things about my new daggers, while we're on the subject. The most interesting thing was that they seemed to have a mind of their own. They could talk, for one thing, and, when trying to figure out how to make a sheath or something, they changed into their twisting snake forms and curled about my wrists before changing into beautiful bracelets that curved over my fingers in an intricate design.

It was a little shocking.

A/N: It's reeeally short, I know, sorry X I'm feeling a bit down, so… At least I got something, eh?

dark-fire586: Umm, okay!

Anonymous: Well, I haven't exactly been the best at, um, updating… I've neglected this story for about a year… But, hey, you found it, it's neat and such… I wish it happened to me, too…. Gosh, it'd be nice. Sorry for the bad chappy.
