The Sea
Sitting by the window
In my seaside castle,
Watching the waves role
Onto the shore,
I smell the ocean,
I feel the sun on my face,
The wind blows through my hair.
I'm in my own ocean paradise,
But I'm crying.
I have almost everything in the world
I'll ever want or need,
But there's one thing I'll never get.
I miss you, and I love you,
But she's got you.
You love her, not me,
And I should just give up,
Cuz you'll never love me
The way you love her.
And as I watch the waves,
I know, even if you were all the way
Across the ocean,
I'd always love you,
With all my heart,
Forever, like the sea.
