Mercy and Disgrace
In pity you let me bask in your presence. In mercy you let me go free,
For you knew of your inconstant nature and broke the chains that so tightly bound me.
You mercy is not mercy. It no compassion shows.
It breathed life into the all the corners of my soul, only to kill me with woe.
To live in your grace is disgrace. Damn tranquil indifference. I refuse your salvation.
Give me viscous abuse or passionate anger, but mercy is an abomination.
