SUMMARY: God looks down on the wars and destruction and mourns.

I am the Lord your God
And I brought you out of Egypt to be my people.
I freed you from the oppressive bonds of slavery
and I gave you a land to call your own,
a home you had never known;
you were merely strangers in a strange land.
After all I have given you,
after all I have bestowed upon you,
you repay me in death and destruction.
You repay me by killing my children.
You repay me in the shedding of innocent blood,
in the cost of innocent lives.
What have you become?
What have you become, my children?
I am the Lord your God,
and I am crying for all my children.
