SUMMER
.
The fresh, young air of Summer
Lies solemnly in wait
For the warm months to again awaken.
.
When these glorious months arrive,
The fresh, young air of Summer
Billows excitedly forward
To spend time, yet again,
Caressing young plants, young flowers, young life.
.
The cold, stale air of Winter
Lies plotting Fall's demise,
So that it may yet again take over.
.
When the Tyranny of Winter continues,
The cold, stale air of Winter
Rules with a frozen fist;
Oppressing, oppressing the life
Of all that is living.
