Shattered glass

Upon the seas

Reflecting naught

But a moon's pleas

Cry out to heaven

The waters freeze

A sailor drops down

To his knees

He prays to God

On beams of light

Someday he'll find

What can be right

And see his life

Free from the plight

His home for once

New and so bright

For now the silky

Winds shall pass

The sailor mourns

For ages past

He plays a tune

With polished brass

A mist sprays on

The shattered glass
