Two types of people attended "The Santa Croce University": the really rich ones and the really smart ones. And, of course, there were two groups: the cool ones and the nerdy ones.well, you get the picture..

This is a story, which takes place in this world, a world filled with Lamborghinis and Ferraris and Jacuzzi parties, but also with endless hours spent solving complicated Mathematics stories or deciphering long-dead languages.

She blended. That was she always did and did it better than anybody. Just a passing face on the Gothic-styled corridors, always hurrying in small steps to a class. She sat in the back in the amphitheatre and hardly spoke to anybody, in fact the only people she had ever spoken to since she had began college were the teachers and the staff in the administration. She only spoke when she was spoken to. Although she had straight As, that didn't impress anybody, as nothing short of the best was asked from the students who received a study scholarship from "The Santa Croce University." Yep, you figured out already that Drucilla Jones was not walking on the popular side of the students.

Upon entering the large amphitheatre, Dru hurried up to the last row, where she usually stood. A very quick glance through the large, smoky glasses, covering half of her face assured her that nothing had changed. The first rows were filled with seriously looking, extremely decent dresses boys and girls, their pens in hand, ready to put down every single word, make that every single doctoral breath, though the Arts' professor hadn't even entered the room. That was suppose to be her group, the nerds who spent their Friday nights working on Chemistry formula and made strange jokes, but she had never tried approaching them. She liked being absolutely alone and she had no qualms about not having a friend.

After the first rows, there were three or four rows absolutely empty, then the glamorous side of the university was seated. Unlike their studious mates, this group was chatting happily, exchanging the latest gossips and commenting on their clothes/ latest car models.

There, in their middle, there stood Chad Richardson, the epitome of his upper class, in all his glamour and perfect with his sparkling blue eyes and curly hair, which looked dishevelled just as the latest fashion magazines commanded. He had a sort of royal air around him, as if he was merely pleasing his subjects, while his hand absently fondled a gorgeous black girl's long legs, his latest girlfriend.

Infinite plus and infinite minus: Chad and Dru.

Dru carefully made her way to her corner, careful not to touch anyone or to make herself noticed. Slumping in her chair, she took out her notes and pen and patiently waited for the class to begin.

This, I can guarantee you it's not the typical hot guy/nerdy chick story. I promise you, it will be quite different!
