Rebecca's car drove away and down the highway fast, way over the speed limit. The sky hadn't changed from the foggy view, it scared her, but not as much as no people on the road, and when she left her town no people on the streets... It was the middle of the day, closing down to rush hour and not one single car on the road. Rebecca's car drove straight through a stop light as it began sparking and flickering off. She turned her head to look behind her. Nothing. Only white fog. She turned her head back to the road and her mouth dropped as she took notice of a person in front of her, It was hardly noticeable through the fog, but there was a person standing there, in the middle of the highway! She swerved to the right and screamed as her car crashed right into the safety rail, breaking through. The car began to slip. Rebecca moved her upper body to the car door. She pulled and tugged on the door put it was stuck. The car moved a bit more as the white misty fog grew more clouded. The car was hanging by what seemed a thread about to snap. Rebecca noticed that the passenger side door was wide open.

"I can't make it.... I move and...."

She cut herself off as the car slipped of the edge and began sailing into the trees and hard ground around a few miles below her. The bottom was coming quickly, there was no way to act. Rebecca was panicking which made things worse. Thoughts ran through her mind, but she tried to fight them off and think about her options... which were very slim. Stay in the car and hitting the bottom would probably end up in a massive explosion and fire. Jumping out was also sudden death. The impact was rearing closer. She cursed to and about herself as things began to grow very dark. As another thought passed through her head.....

"You can't run..... They'll make you remember...."

Rebecca jumped up from the wheel and opened her eyes, swerving the car back into place before ramming into a stop sign. She slammed her foot onto the brake as she looked around.

"What... What happened... was it just a dream... I could of thought th-"

"Uh!"

Rebecca jumped out of the car and began to freak.

"What the hell? Wasn't I just on a highway? Was that a dream too...?"

Rebecca peered around. A town... empty cold and.... foggy. Where was she?

"Only one way to find out!" Rebecca said to herself as she ran to the back of her car only getting the "Important" things.

"Maybe there's a hotel.. I'm kind of... Tired"

And with that she, almost mindlessly, began walking into the new place
