When it rains
By: Tk. T

When it rains outside,
The sky turns dark and violet.
The clouds bunch together in knots,
Rumbling thunder.
When it rains outside,
I go outside and look up,
Catching raindrops with my open palms,
That face the sky.
When it rains outside,
The sky turns into a waterfall of crystal beads,
Each droplet of water,
Clenching the thirst of flowers,
Who wait underneath.
When it rains outside,
The ground becomes an ocean of puddles,
Where children run and jump into,
Wearing their little raincoats,
And high boots.
When it rains outside,
The whole world is drinking,
The thirst of the earth,
Is quenched by the rain.
When it rains outside.
