A/N: This was one of those poems I wrote in a rush of emotion and stuff when I read a particular fanfiction story. Uhh, yeah. Free verse. Hope you like. I need a better title.

*****

Don't look at me

I'll hurt your pretty eyes

Keep your distance from me

I don't want you catching my ugly

Turn away from the freak

Pretend you didn't see me

So ashamed of your eyes upon me

You don't deserve the sting of looking at me

I'm a hideous disease

And just plain hideous

You look at me

I'll run away

I'm a guilty conscious

I hurt everyone who has to see me

Don't look at me

I don't want you catching my ugly

A thousand insecurities

Disgorging from my imperfection

I cross my arms

Put my head down

Watch the ground as I walk

The concrete is getting wet

Full of so many ugly mistakes

I think God must have missed me that day

I'm so imperfect

So many pieces missing

Hiding my crimson eyes

Looking up to see who's trying not to catch my ugly

All the people walking by

Are looking at the ground

Folding their arms

Hiding their thousands of insecurities

I look and smile

And catch their ugly
