All is fair, in love an war
That's what the elders told me
But the problem with their literature was
I was to young the truth to see
But as the years they passed me by
In a line of great precision
It came upon me the difficult task
Towards a man a great decision
For we had known each other
For all our lives and in between
We began to think through out the world
We wished our love to be perceived and seen
So when he asked me the question of time
I felt great euphoria come over me
With the elder's words buzzing in my head
The truth I was finally allowed to see
