Stumbling into the bitter night
Cold air rushes at shocked skin
Violent red running
Spreading.
Drunk on air and life and Oxygen
Too much.
Dizzy from the weight of the world
and
expectation.
Sweet madness drives
Through the winter.

Summer sun and the promise of foreign climbs
Another bridge, many sunsets to free from the iron railings
Red petals caress stone and brick.
Feet step gingerly on burning black rivers
Ice melting on warm skin.
Droplets of madness
Keep me here.

Naked flame stroked near skin
Every nerve pressed alive and screaming
No thoughts,
Easy
Graceful
Safe
And fear hardly holds me, I am far,
Far away from here.
