Dark Imaginary

When the rain falls,
Cold drops splash onto the ground,
Creating small pools.
I imagine those pools to be blood.
Those icy drops of water,
Are the tears of despair.
The clouds are crying,
They're weeping cold untold tears,
In my dark world.
Every lightening that pierces the sky,
Radiating with brilliant light.
They're every scar I plant on myself,
Out of anger,
Out of hatred.
The ever-stretching night,
Blanketing the world into darkness,
Covers my world in black.
There are stars on that blanket,
Stars high above,
So cold,
So silent,
They're pieces of my heart,
Abused so many times,
It's gone so far away beyond my grasp,
No one can reach up to hurt it anymore.
There's a wide barren land,
Filled with nothing but dust and sand,
No plants,
It's filled with nothing.
A constant reminder,
That in my own dark world,
I'm alone.
