Moonfire's tonight

The sea ,
The shore ,
The fresh smell ,
Of it .

The waves splashing at my feet ,
All I ever knew . . . . .
All I ever felt . . . . .
Every thing changes .

Into something I never knew ,
Running through the waters deep ,
My feet slipping on the rocks below ,
Drowning . . . . .

Never knowing ,
What I knew at that moment ,
The single vision ,
Of what is to be . . . . .

The flowers by the shore ,
Tilting toward the wayword water ,
The death of a thousand suns ,
Just to get your way .

The rose bush ,
In yonder castle garden ,
Above ,
The cascading stars of yore .

The moonfire of the night ,
Over a thousand lovers ,
Of the night ,
When the darkness takes over .

And all the things of night appear ,
And the stars rule the heavens ,
That's when ,
It'll happen .

The cascading stars of the night ,
Watching them as I drown ,
Under the unknown seas surface ,
Leaving the world tonight . . . . .
