The ÔvictimÕ of an unrequited love muses about the girl who loves him.

If only she was beautiful,

I might be able to love her.

If she didnÕt have

those mounds of fat,

the ugly, angry scars,

the wide mannish shoulders,

the black fish eyes,

the shapeless, lumpy curves,

the big, strong hands,

mannish hands.

If only she didnÕt have that loose hanging flesh,

drooping, sagging down from her throat.

If only she was someone else,

maybe I would love her.

If only she was thin,

made of breasts,

small and girlish,

tiny wasted,

smooth skinned,

and tanned.

If only she was beautiful,

someone might love her

the way she deserves to be loved.
