If I could fly
I would soar over a thousand rooftops
Moist wind penetrating my skin
Weightless on the heavy cotton
Pass over gold fields and clear lakes
Purple mountains and dark green forests
Little people safe in their homes
At night I would turn over
Float in the blackness
Covered by a blanket of stars
The moon would be my nightlight
I would be an angel
My golden wings would guide the way
To serene happiness
In the smooth wind
