What is this rueful, lame excuse
Of light they call the sun?
For that which it did perpetrate
Was nothing short of dun
Its beams, they are so pitiful
Its rays are dim and filed
For nothing is as magical
As the beauty of your smile
The light it casts shines everywhere
A radiant gleaming glow
And through the sky it rips a tear
Makes our stars a fiasco

It thunders through the heavens
And it transcends time and place
Acts as my spirit's leavens
And enlivens up the space

The rainbow in your grin
It streams in reds and blues
'Twould be a horrid sin
If you had to let it go
