Curiosity

Have you ever felt the desire,
To gut the clouds with lightning,
And allow its blood to flow,
And enjoy that rain on your face,
And purge yourself of sin,
Just as a spontaneous combustion,
A random connection of the brain,
Just out of the curiosity of the thing?

Have you ever felt the need,
To free fall into the wind,
Like a bird on the wing,
But since your soul is weighed with burdens,
To the ground you would fall,
But it would be nice for a moment,
Just out of the curiosity of the thing?

The worst weapon in this world,
Must be spontaneity,
Must be curiosity,
The threat of just a bored soul,
Wanting more then what is given to her.
I need more then every day,
I want more then every day,
I yearn for every night as well,
Are you the wine that will quench my thirst,
That will fill my void?
Would you be willing,
Just out of the curiosity of the thing?
