Porcelain Tears

Tears of glass are hard to notice
They exist but then they shatter
Tears of copper are cried for all
They're loud, heavy and perfectly formed
Tears of wood spring from troubles old
With reasons that are deep-rooted
Tears of lead are just there for show
They're too large to ever be real
Tears of acid only exist
For a while before they dissolve
Tears of gold just aren't worth the pain
Cry too many and they're worthless
Tears of clay are ever so raw
With reasons deep and reasons pure
Tears of silk are only for comfort
Too soft to ever have meaning
But tears of porcelain are mine
They're shiny, smooth and delicate
Everybody wants to see them but
But don't care about their creator
