This is a story of hate and cruelty between two "people."
Angle, Demon, and Beast
By Loray Prince
The heavy black chains pull back as the imprisoned sprite heaved with all her might.
"A pox on those that made this chains and on those that placed them on me," she called out with her soft voice.
A rolling laughter filled the small dark room as the heavy door swung in and crashed against the back wall. "Now now my love, angles are not aloud to curse any living soul."
"You have no soul and you are no living thing." Spat the winged prisoner as she looked up at the masses black demon that filled the doorway.
"Shut up." The sound of a whip filled the room followed but a sob of pain. "That is no way to speak to your master" barked and small black creature who followed in the demon's shadow. His piercing red eyed looked at the angle that was now a heap on the ground. "You are ungrateful." He struck her again with the whip.
"No need for that Seth" commanded the demon with a smile. "Do not beat her."
"But I want to" cried Seth now turning his rage against the demon. "I want to, please let me. I'm going to do it. I'll do it if I want to." Seth raised his arm in the air and brought the whip down hard upon the angle three times before the demon struck him brutally across the face.
"You will do as I say, or I'll beat you again," road the demon. His fierce gaze fell upon the angle as she cried softly on the floor. "You have no need to shed tears my love, I know you did not mean to say such hurt full things to me. You are forgiven. Besides you placed those chains on yourself. Now stop you weeping, your lovely green eyes will be red." He bent down and pulled her harshly to her feet by her great white wings, "and get off the ground your robes that I had made for you are getting filthy." He walked across the room and removed the chains from the walls. "And we would not want you a mess, now would we my love?"
"No," whispered the angle.
"Of course not. Now come along I have chores for you to do."
They walked quietly through the dark hallways, the demon in front, pulling the angle by her chains and Seth run back and forth between the two of them, biting at the angle's ankles, feeling her shoes with blood when he thought that the demon was not looking. The angle cried silently to her self as she remembered her lift before she was imprisoned. How she lived freely with her own two stars shining brightly by her side. Her stars that were put out by the demon once he had tricked her into put on the chains that now held her. She let out a soft sob as walked into the light, were she could see the true color her restraints, bright gold.
"No need for that my love." The demon pinched her chin in one of his masses hands. He brushed the tears from her face and kissed her roughly on the mouth. "You have a good life here," he cooed in her ear then pushed her away. "Now go make my dinner," he kicked Seth away from him, "And take our son with you, wife. He is getting on my never."
"Yes, my husband."
