You will no doubt have observed that this story does not follow the same pattern as many other celebrity spy stories: after the evil genius had been vanquished, the celebrity spy did not get together with his girl and sail off into the distance.

Of course, this is because Dave was a celebrity spy of integrity: in his private life, he was saving himself for marriage, and held to very high moral standards (other than killing people for a living).

By including such a shining example of moral excellence I hope that many of you children will do the same. Because, obviously, you just do what characters in the movies do.

Anyway. The conclusion of this story is: Everyone lived happily ever after, except for all the people that Dave had killed (or who had killed themselves). But seeing as the story was a work of complete fiction, it really didn't matter on way or another.
