That Day

Nothing was serious to her
Life was one big joke

She never experienced sorrow
Or other harmful gifts life gives

Until one day
She woke up smiling

Hopped out of bed
And skipped down the stairs

She searched for her mom
Found her in the bathroom

Blood covered the floor
And her mother's body

She never rook anything serious
Until that fateful day
