Dark eyes peer through the parted leaves,
Glimpse the falling rain,
Following the endless masses.
Unseen by the empty souls passing by,
A silent observer invisible to all,
Wondering how those that see can still be blind,
To the voices crying out to be loved,
To the tears children spill within.
All of them, ignorant, deaf, and blind,
Still the dark eyes watch them,
Through the parted leaves,
Feeling bitter pity for the ignorant observers,
Wishing they would stop indulging in themselves,
And reach out to those bleeding inside.
Till the end of time the dark eyes watch,
Through the parted leaves,
Wondering when humanity will see,
Those made invisible by their hated and their cruelty.
How long?
How long will the eyes watch the injustice,
The injustice of humanity?
