Her acidic tears

Trace a well-worn path

Down her crinkled cheek

To drip softly

Onto his grave

She misses him still

But the piercing grief

She once felt

Has receded to a

Dull ache

She gently caresses

His tombstone

And whispers softly

Words of endearment

Words still filled with love

But the dull ache

Of grief has strengthened

And little does she know

That she will get what

She has asked for many times

Her worn body collapses

Falling gracefully

On top of his grave

And the moon watches

Over the two lovers

For eternity

*A/N*- This was a poem I wrote in five minutes for English. It's definitely not one of my best, but I thought I'd post it anyway.
