So Divine

So randomly constant
Is the blackness of the sun
That eclipses my brain-dead mind
So lovely are the hands
Those rough, callused hands
That lead me when I am blind
So dull are the stars
On a night when I'd rather
Be anywhere than home
So eclectic is my heartbeat
Crying out with pain
When I'm feeling so alone
So lovely summer smells
The sweat and the bugspray
The scent of being free
So cold are those night
The warm summer nights
When you're not here with me
So far away
Your tender heart seems
Though it's beating inches from mine
So smooth-beautiful
Is your off-beat rhythm
When we're embracing so divine
