The Hypocrisy of Conformity

On the outside, I am strong and tall,
Though mentally, my esteem begins to fall,
Can our world not open its eyes,
And see all the hurtful, phony lies?

Our world consists of them and from which is formed,
An everlasting hell hole, enraged by lightning storms,
And yet with the villains, liars, cheaters, and pervs,
We worship them and, like a wave, we surge

Surf the trends and water ski the fads,
Hanging out with so-called friends, falling for cheap ads,
Then when we select few realize the hypocrisy of popularity,
We wipe our and become our own selves, full of sincerity
