Not An Ordinary Vampire

It was a windy night. A cold and windy night, Mistara noted. She didn't mind though. It was a tiny nuisance but Mistara ignored it as if it were nothing. Her attention was focused on the figure ahead of her. It was dark and forbidding, but Mistara paid the fact no mind. She was given a job and she was going to carry it through.
Mistara tightened her belt under her form fitting black leather vest. She reached down and made sure the stake in her boot was secure. It dug painfully into her ankle, but like the wind, Mistara ignored it. Straightening her black turtleneck and leather pants, she silently strode toward the figure.
He heard her approaching, but gave no outward sign of her appearance being an annoyance to him. She reached him and leaned against a rail, looking at him from the corner of her eye.
"Be warned, sister of our kind, hunters are about and wary tonight." His eyes slid towards mine, coldly observing my figure.
"Afraid of weak, human hunters brother?" Mistara teased him, pushing up from the rail.
"Vampires are never afraid of weak humans." He gave me an evil smile.
"What about other vampires?" Mistara asked, giving him the same smile.
"I am over 80 years old. I am afraid of nothing." He smirked.
"Well," Mistara said, bending down as if to tie her shoe, "you can call me nothing."
Mistara sprang up on the younger vampire, planting the stake firmly into his heart. He had no time to react. He simply looked uo at Mistara and whispered "Traitor." He turned into dust then, and softly blew away.
Mistara knelt down and sprinkled some dust into her palm, her face emotionless. She let the dust fall through her fingers before she stood up and walked away. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A/N Hey, I hoped you liked this chapter. Its my first time with writing anything about vampires, and I think its kind of fun. Hope you guys like the twist where Mistara is actually a vampire herself.
