I'm just putting the prologue up now. If you want more, tell me!

Life can be deceiving. It has many paths, which it can change rapidly. It can appear to be true, but in a flash you could find yourself living a life of lies. Life can change as quickly as the wind in the trees, or the direction of the flowing water. Or it can change slowly, and you find yourself asking how this happened. An example of this was Kaun. For her, life had started out smooth and enjoyable, but later she knew life had fooled her, as it had fooled many.

Kaundia of Byieranu had been trained tightly in the ways of a warrior since she was four. She could combat with an abundance of weapons, even her hands, and pose a threat. For twelve years of her fourteen year life Kaundia had been a fighter.

But now, Kaundia had a new interest. One that was confusing and complex and so much different from her fighting.

Her fascination now, was dreams.

To Kaun, dreams were something real. Really real, not just the changing labyrinth that life had an accustomed to be. They were an evanescence of the past, future, and even the present. They were a slight shimmer of the way life could have been, if it hadn't changed its course.

To her, dreams were life.
