Freedom's Toll

The soldiers that died,
The people cried
For their loved ones lost.
What was the cost?

For freedom of others,
For children and mothers,
The bells of freedom toll.
War has eaten its roll.

It had its fill yesterday,
But it's hungry today.
What will you do?
This war is new.

It's not just a battle,
Not some baby's rattle.
But it will help you
To believe in what you can do.

Remember the women and men,
Who died now and then.
Let everyone pray
For our troops everyday.
