I aim for you,
Yet I know that I will miss.
For I am sure
I am not her
I am myself
Nobody else.
Falling far
Heart burning bright
I long for you
All through the night
Yet I know
It cannot be
I am not her
I'm only me.
My heart has tricked me
So many times
Into thinking
You were mine
But now I know
Its but an illusion
And now I draw
My final conclusion.
Strong and proud
I stand at last
Knowing that
She is the past
I am the future
I am myself
I am, for now
