BORN

Chapter 1-Discovery

Walking down the corridor that led to his militaristic adviser's office at the Pentagon, CIA agent Ryan Niel thought back to his dream the previous night. In it, he had been going down the hallway that led to his CIA adviser's office at Langley.

~When he reached the door, he saw hat an erie blue light was being projected from underneath it. Wondering what it could be, he pulled out his optic camera and slowly slid under the door crack. Slowly swiveling it around to see every aspect of the room he could, Ryan saw something he had never seen before.

In the northwest corner of the room, there was a doorway from the blue light was coming. Checking the room to make sure no one would see him coming in, he slowly got up and tried to open the door. Strangley, the door was locked.

Puzzled by this, Ryan pulled out his laser key, a new device given him that would umlok any lock. Using it to open up his adviser's office door, he crept in on the very tips of his toes. Crouchig down low behind the desk, he risked a glance into the other room. Seeing no one, he moved into it.

Quickly diving into the shadows along the far east wall, he moved so slowly that he was almost at a complete standstill. He moved to the far end of the room, where he had seen shadows pushed up against the blue light.

Once he reached the far wall from the door, he stopped and pulled out his mini nocs. Using them, he zoomed in on the two people and the blue light source. When he saw who they were, he gasped silently. He then realized what the blue light had been.

His eyes widening at the realization of his discovery, he pulled out his .45 regular issue pistol and attached a silencer to the end of it. Muffling the sound of him cocking it beneath his shirt, he crept to a place where he could get a clear shot at that traitorous bastard.

Once he was two hundred yards off, he aimed and shot the peron closest to him. Running over to where the body lay, he pulled out the pistol that the now dead head of the CIA had on him. Pointing both guns at the other person, he made a quick motion to start walking slowly towards him.

" You know, kid, that you are going to be blamed for this," the other person said.

" Well, Mr. President, I have your little invention here on camera with you and that other bastard working on it," Ryan replied.

" Well, we'll just have to see about that, won't we. There are more people working on this than you know, so I suggest you run. Leave before you get killed ofr knowing too much. Unless you want to join us, Ryan Niel," President Lawrence explained.

Replying, Ryan said, " You know me too well, Mr. Presidnet, but you shjould know that I'm leaving wih my evidence. I will bring you down."

" I'm sure you will," Lawrence said with a sadistic smile.~

Still a little unnerved by this, he chased it out of his thoughts. He reached the door that led to Lt. Col. James Johnson's office. Entering, he took a seat opposite the Lt. Col. And then pulled out his brief from his last mission. Handing it over to Johnson, he sat there while Johnson read it over.

When James finished, Niel asked, "Well, what do you think?"

" I'm not sure. This man has told us more lies than truths, but he could be telling the truth this time. That plane was stolen, and he claims he knows who did it. He even named names of people that we suspect may have done it."

" Even still, he oesn't seem to have it."

" No, he doesn't. That may prove to be even more troublesome than I had originally thought. I'm sorry Ryan, but I'll have to keep on this mission until the plane is found."

" Can you at least tell me about the plane?"

" Maybe…you'll know when I send you my next e-mail. If I do, the information will be with it."

" Alright. If there's nothing else, then I'll be going now."

" Your dismissed, Ryan."

" Yessir, James."

Later that day, Ryan was told to meet with the head of the CIA. He was also told that he could come anytime before midnight. Deciding to use a well deserved day off, Ryan decided he'd be there at eleven tonight. He sent a reply to the secretary and then went off to a bar.

At 10:30, he headed to the CIA headquarters at Langley. He entered the building, and found it deserted. The secretary had left him a note that said for him to go on ahead to the office of the head of the CIA, who is Ryan's direct CIA adviser.

When he reached the door, he saw hat an erie blue light was being projected from underneath it. Wondering what it could be, he pulled out his optic camera and slowly slid under the door crack. Note: Well, YSYF here, and hre is the first chapter. My friend, Gold Finch (finchy) will be doing the next chapter. From then on, we will be switching back and forth on chapters. Also, we will be replying to reviews here at the ending notes. Finally, words between '~' mean a flashback or a dream sequence.
