In The Crowd

She walks in a large crowd,
Surrounded by her many friends.
Her slim hips are swinging;
Everyone's watching,
They can't take their eyes off her.

She laughs, and they copy her,
Walled in by a blanket of safety,
Her looks are blonde and pure;
The girls are jealous,
They all want to be like her.

She is popular, but alone,
Nobody knows her inside,
Her insecurities are locked away;
Outside she is flawless,
They think she's the perfect girl.
