Ghosts

There are things I see but seldom tell
Visions of conquest ghosts from hell
Whose malevolent paths I cross each day
Whose song be heard each time I lay
En repose deep down in my sheets
The voices began
The cries the pleas

The youngster beside my bed just stares
His hands he hold up to his ears
The smile that once played on his lips now drawn down by deaths grip
Whos are you young master
Little angel demon spawn
Who haunts me where ever my comfort forms
Others see me seing you there
But they don't understand
Because ethey cant hear
Your cries your screams
Yuore heart broken sobs
And nothing on the earth
can stop them now

they watch me watching you
and they don't understand

there are things I see but seldom tell
Visions of conquest ghosts from hell
Whose malevolent paths I cross each day
Whose song be heard each time I lay
En repose deep down in my sheets
The voices began
The cries the pleas

The ladies of old in dressing gowns
parading with lanterns throughout this town
lamenting along the sidewalks here
with no hope in store to quell their fear
to and fro they march unstructured
unaware as they pass through each other
each in her own fear shrouded veil
each with her own heart broken tail
her siren song mingles with others
to make my soul quake
my voice soft as to lovers
I whisper as I pass through this crowd
And feel the chill of their ethereal shrouds
When others hear my whispered prayer
The grow nervous behind their blushing ears
Thinking me crazy uncouth half there
They fear me because only I hear
standing in the street eyes down cast
crying for them each and every last
while others in my world go by
misunderstanding why I cry

they watch me watching you
but they don't understand
I can see you and guide youre hand

There are things I see but seldom tell
Visions of conquest ghosts from hell
Whose malevolent paths I cross each day
Whose song be heard each time I lay
En repose deep down in my sheets
The voices began
The cries the pleas

Indian chief with your well oiled hair
Glistening in the sun as you stand there
Majestic in this vision as you thread your path
Cutting across my vision at last
Silent and brooding yet your eyes cry out
This is your land
Yet you don't want us out
You understand that your kind has been lost
You understand that this life is not yours
Like me you stand on paths worn by many feet
Waiting and hoping for a stranger to meet
For a mind free and open your story to tell
For a heart big enough your pain to quell
Waiting for a friend amongst these deluded beings
Who cant see what we see the truth of these things
You see me and I hear what you say
But others they fear us and skitter away
Your head you shake in view of them all
Yet no one sees you there brave and tall
We whisper to each other on this grassy field
While those in my world my heart would repeal
They call to me as if I am lost
But I fight to stay in your presence at all cost
I ignore the voices of friends as they moan
This burden is mine to hold and mine alone

So they watch me watching you
Yet they still don't understand
I can see you and guide your hand
I can tell you the things
Transpired since you're death
I can share my life
But I cant give you breath

I can point to you the things standing in you're name
I can point out the ways that life's still the same
I can give you a vision of life through my eyes
I can tell you the pains behind heart felt cries
I can show you the majesty of this brave new world
But I cant give you my life I'm only a girl
You must await your return in next world
