' ' means thoughts and I'll switch the point of views every now and then.

Here you go!

The ride back to my house was silent, save the small sounds that the rain made on the windshield. Nuriko flicked a small lever and the wipers cleared away the water with a single flick before resting again.

"So, how are you all in all?" Nuriko said breaking the silence.

"Fine I guess, I mean I'm not sick or anything." I said watching the lightening spark across the dark sky and feeling shivers like I always did when it stormed.

"Well, here we are. Nice spending time with you." He said pulling up in my driveway.

"You to, and thanks for saving my ass at school." I smiled and stepped out into the rain. I took my time walking up to my door.

Nuriko's car rounded the corner; I sighed and opened the door. Surprisingly I wasn't attacked with insults or bitching.

In fact, the house was quiet. I frowned and kicked off my shoes by the door.

'I wonder where they are?' I thought taking the steps slowly. The sounds and moans coming from Maria's room answered my question.

I growled and felt that familiar anger build up like it usually did, I stepped into my room and flicked on the switch, Artiemus uncurled some when I turned on my stereo to drown out the banging and screaming down the hall.

I did this all automatically, used to it after 5 years of living with my bitch sister. I took off the top of my snake's cage and gently picked him up as my Breaking Benjamin CD played loudly.

I turned on my computer and sat down setting Artiemus on my shoulders; his tongue tickled my ear in a loving way.

'If you can call a snake loving.' I laughed at the thought and signed onto my instant messenger. The alert beep came on and a message popped up on my start bar,

Dark1731 has added you to his/her contact list!

"Hmm." I typed a quick 'hi' in the messaging box and waited.

Hey was the person's reply.

"How'd you get my address?" My fingers moved across the keys quickly.

Your website, by the way, this is Kagetenshi. You don't have to be cautious or anything. I was surprised and quickly typed a sorry.

We talked for a few hours; I had long since put Artiemus away when he began to get irritated.

Hey Aya?

"Yes?" We had just got off the topic of how we could blow up our school and I was finally able to control my giggling.

Are you a virgin? My typing faltered and I opened my mouth in surprise.

"Why do you want to know?" I typed cautiously wondering where he was going with this.

Because you seem like the type of girl that knows more than she should. I giggled and quickly typed;

"Well I don't really."

So is that a yes you are a virgin? I giggled again,

"Yes, I'm a virgin. And I bet you aren't."

Nah, I am. Just thought I'd ask you, oh yeah. What time do you want me to pick you up on Friday?

'Friday?' I frowned and tried to remember.

'Oh, he means the date thing.'

"Hmm how about seven or so?" I typed out.

Sounds fine, well I've gotta go. Talk to you later. He signed off before I could say bye, I yawned and stretched, my alarm clock said 9:30 P.M, and I sighed walking into the bathroom.

The sounds from Maria's room had stopped and I made a face of disgust. Just when I had barely gotten my jacket off I heard Ted's muffled yell.

"AYA! YOU'RE IN DEEP SHIT!" So my immediate thought was,

'Oh shit!' Reacting on reflexes I grabbed my jacket and rushed out of the bathroom, down the stairs, through the living room and out the door.

I heard sleepy thuds of Ted following me but I didn't care a cold blast of wind and rain hit my face as I rushed out of the house and onto the street.

I heard a honk, and turned around just in time to see two large headlights coming my way. The next minute I heard Ted's yell and then the screech of tires.

The car didn't hit me hard, but it sure felt like someone had just tackled me to the ground.

I fell to the wet pavement dazed, winded, and confused. I looked over and saw the door slam and then the lights upstairs go out.

'So much for caring…' I thought before blacking out.

A/N) Well? Was it satisfying? Disappointing? I tried to make it longer than the previous chapters…--;;

Tell me what you think! Pwease?
