(A/N): Sorry ofr the long delay...I had to finish editing it and typng it and doing all of my home work, but I promise to try and update more..........again I am soooooooooo soooooooo sorry........
The library closes at 11:30 for lunch then reopens at 1:00. I got there at 12:30, so that I would be early for the next part of the story. Billy was with me because Mrs. Morris, his mother, asked me if I'd keep him again this afternoon. I don't know why she asks me. We are the same age, I mean it's not as if I'm babysitting him. I think it might have some thing to do with her and her two jobs. And the fact that Billy doesn't have a dad. Yeah.... I think that's right. I am baby-sitting. Baby sitting a ten-year-old baby.
As we were waiting it began to rain, but despite the rain many of the other children got there. Among the first group were Tomy Mitch Mulligan, Sara Lee Evans, Laura O'Rickley, Maura Thomas, and Richard "Richie" Stevens. The second wave consisted of Steven Heins, Tony Heins, Sheila Heins, and Margaret Thompson. The last kid to arrive was all by himself. He was the new kid in town. His name was Marvin Lewis. He was a very shy child, and seemed to never move his mouth when he spoke in his soft, quite voice. He seemed the complete opposite than, oh, than Tomy Mitch Mulligan, who was loud and rambunctious.
After waiting under the awning of the library, so as not to get rained on, it was finally 1:00. Miss Livingston, the new librarian since Mrs. Quinn left, or died, or went to the hospital, came to the door and opened it allowing us to fall into the library and clamber over each other to get a good seat. At 1:15 Mr. Sanders walked into the library lobby, took off his coat and hat, and shook out his umbrella. He then picked his way through all of the kids, sitting rather closely, to his chair. "Well then are we all here?" he asked as soon as he sat down. I quickly stood up and counted. "Yep, looks like it."
"All right then. Who remembers where I left off from yesterday?" Everyone's hand shot up except for Marvin's. And of course that was the kid Mr. Sanders called on. "Um...yes you there what is your name?"
"My name is Marvin Lewis, sir."
"Oh good Mr. Lewis what is the answer."
"Marvin is fine sir, um...you-you left off at the part where Lyon and Rison were ambushed by Nesscite and Trika. And they were going to go hunting."
"Correct. Well...uhm.....here we go!"
Everyone let their hands fall with a flop
"We must be going now." Lyon elbowed Rison in the ribs. "Yes, yes. Lovely meeting you two ladies, must be off."
"Lots of hunting to do!" they both said in unison.
"Oh!!! We'll go too!!" chimed both girls.
"NO!!! It is not a sport for women!!!" said Rison.
"So?...It is in Lotoma!!!!" questioned Nesscite.
"Well...THIS ISN'T LOTOMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" shouted Lyon.
"You know Nesscite...he has a point. I mean what if it is illegal for women to hunt!!! We could be like, arrested!!!!!!!" Trika advised that they ride to the castle and leave the "men" to hunt. After a while of galloping through the trees dodging rocks and jumping over fallen logs the two girls decided to rest. "Lyon", complained Rison, "I don't wanna be a guy any more!!!! I want to go back to the time when dad loved us!!! Before he went mad and really thought we were his sons!!!! I want mother !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"RISON!!!!" Lyon slapped her with enough force to break a rather large limb. "SNAP OUT OF IT!!!!!!!!" Rison mumbled a 'Thank you', then started to ride to the coast, which was a bout 25 yards from where they were. Lyon caught up, and they both rode towards the Chisoré/Arian Seacoast.
Once they reached their destination, Lyon and Rison dismounted their horses, and took off the armor that they were required to wear (being royal heirs and all), and instead of the armor they put on leather (so much more comfortable). Once in comfortable clothes they decided to walk along the beach and see what all manner of sea creatures they could see through the clear blue water. Later, that evening the girls decided to sleep on the beach under the stars.
