-The Last Song-
Jason Rodriguez

Scared at first he watched in protest for the noise that would not stop
It seemed to ring, the bell would sing the last song that would be herd-
The night grew Dense as the whispers grew tense in the light, in the shadows of the night...
The Eyes began to peer as that man sat alone so deared towards though who cannot speak...
He listens, carefully, for each word that has been spilled
Each sound is kept, silenced in, waiting without the Song...
...the Whispers simmered down as the Night was crying now
For Dawn was approaching and Life was being made-
The man, still some what scared, sat up and felt a hand
A Sound, a Bell...The song for him to hear...
He smiled, as he herd one last whisper in his ear:
"For time is now completely gone, it's your choice to wander now...
Take one step, and we shall part...Forever wondering who We Are..."
...He smiled once more, Rubbing his arm on the Shelf as he helped himself up and looked around-
People stood around him, each one not sure what to ponder
As he smiled and walked out the door...
In the hallway he stopped looked around at the Clock, frozen in it's time he shook his head and looked ahead-
For They Stood there, No Light, No Darkness...
Just what was there...
The Man smiled, no longer scared...
For life was just a memory...
