I lay in bed
In fear of what will happen next
The room is pitch black
With no life except the breath

The floorboards creak down the hall
My heart pounds, with panic
Yet, another creak
Footsteps come closer

Hand on the door
With the handle turning
Breath now slower
Footsteps at the end of my bed

Hoarse breathing as he looks and stares
Wondering what he'll do tonight
As my innocence slowly drifts out the open window
Now his pleasure reaches new heights

The stars shine as I look out
But the brightness in my eyes decline
When done he sits and stares then goes away
Until the next night, I'll really be scared
