I stumble in the darkness,
But you catch me before I fall.
As much as these moments
Are so hard to fight,
You give me hope,
And satisfaction of knowing
I'll make it through.
Do I continue to go on?
My battle plan has a strategy,
I go to war knowing my enemy.
I pour out my thoughts on this paper,
Before they seep through my mind,
Then remind myself of Your love.
And though that thought may only instill,
Just the faintest glimmer of hope;
It's more than enough
For me to fasten myself to the rock,
Hold on for dear life,
As the storm rages around me.
