*Dedicated in Loving Memory of Lowell Cox*

"Dust yourself off and get up"
That's what he used to tell me
Picking me up and holding me
Cradling me in his arms
Telling me stories of his childhood
Now those days are gone
He has passed on to the heavens
Though he isn't here
His legacy remains with me
Shaping my life
Picking me up and holding me
Telling me to get up and hold on
