Spirits of the Wood
Tall and graceful
Spirits of the Wood
Swaying, dancing
with the wind
Whispering, singing
secrets of the world.
Dark-skinned, green-haired
Spirits of the Wood
Crown of berries, feathers
upon their heads
Garlands of flowers
around their necks.
Shy and hidding
Spirits of the Wood
Emrald ivy
entvine their arms
Viels of moss
hide thier faces
Unkown and mysterious
Spirits of the wood
Raging, shouting
angry calls
Howling hollowing
long and loud.
Kind-hearted and gentle
Spirits of the Wood
Weeping, wailing
with the rain
Blessing, sheltering
all they know.
They come, they go,
They grow, they fade,
Beautiful, remarkable
Trees of the Wood.
