"Genderless Is Love"
I sit here, rocking
Thinking and wondering:
Why must you complicate
Why must you eradicate
Our chance to be happy
Together in eternity?
I'll paint you a picture
Of what you'll create
A sea of injustice,
A forest of sorrows you make mine
Yet I am almost what you are
The slight to what our rights are
So you see now
We are observed as who we are now
Or should we be
For we should be we
Not us and them
But strong and durable as denim
You have your man
And I have my woman
You say mine ought to be as yours
We ought to be opposing in gender
But what are these to love?
