I was at school at 6:30 in the morning. Heck, just so I wouldn't be late I got there at six. To my bitter disappointment William, never showed up. When the 8:15 bell for class rung I went inside and saw him sitting in his desk comfortably.

"WHERE WERE YOU?" I demanded.

"At 6:30 I was still catching Z's." He said smugly.

"I woke up at five just so I could get there on time and you aren't even there! You know what? Next time I wont even show up!"

"Ah, but if you don't show up then maybe something else will, all over the school." William said slyly.

"What?" I asked dumbfounded.

"I am the editor of the school newspaper, Jennifer! I am the head of the computer club! I have so many resources it's insane. And you know what else . . . I have a voice and the letter that you wrote if that isn't enough proof what is."

"You're a bastard." I said grinding my teeth. The bell for class to started to ring. "This isn't over." I said putting my books on the desk next to him and sitting down.

Looking straight at the chalkboard William sneered back to me, "you're right this is only the beginning. Oh and by the way Jennifer, don't go telling anybody about our little arrangement."

When class ended Veronica tried to talk to me. I couldn't help but feel being around her constantly made my life hell.

"So are you okay?" she asked.

"I'm fine." I said quickly throwing my stuff into my locker.

"Hmmm. It's not like you to throw your stuff in your locker Jen are you alright?"

"I'm fine."

"Oh look, it's Todd." Veronica waved at Todd.

Todd looked at me with a worried face as if he felt bad for me. Then he walked away quickly.

"What was that about?" I asked timidly to Veronica, "does he know did you tell him anything?"

"No way! Of course not." Veronica twirled her hair, a sign of her lying.

"Veronica what did you tell him?"

"That you---"

"Jennifer come here!" a voiced yelled from the other side of the hall.

"I ah, have to go." I said walking backwards away from Veronica.

"Why?" Veronica said as she was following me.

"Noreason!" I blurted quickly, trying to get away.

"Jennifer, I should only have to call you once, no I shouldn't even have to call you. Your telepathic you should predict when I want you around me now, come here." William said scornfully.

"What are you her boyfriend or something?" Veronica demanded stopping me from going near him.

"As a matter of fact I am." He said with a smirk.

Veronica had surprise on her face, "no way, this can't happen. Is this true Jen?"

I shrugged my shoulders; "look I have to go but if you want to talk call me later." I said skipping off towards William. "Cant you be a little more quiet about this?" I asked shyly.

"I can do what ever I want, it's you who should be a little more quiet about this." William said pulling my hand.
