Sicily raised her Champagne glass filled with sparkling cider high over her head and she gave a wide smile, "Here's to making it through finals!" Her two friend cheered loudly, causing the whole restaurant to look at their table.

Kameron raised her glass to Sicily's, and the glasses clinked together, "To the end of school!"

Greenlee shoved her glass up, hitting Sicily's and Kameron's hard while their cider sloshed around, "To being able to drink next year!"

The three girls burst out laughing. They were unable to purchase alcohol and were forced to buy sparkling cider, Greenlee tried to persuade the young waiter that she was old enough, but her ID proved otherwise.

Sicily tossed her burgundy hair back as she took a swig of her sparkling cider. When she let her glass down and set it back on the table, Kameron was finished and sitting quietly for Sicily to finish. Greenlee had drank half of her cider before she set it on the linen tablecloth. Sicily's eyes caught Kameron fiddling with her auburn hair, it was an old nervous habit, that was now just natural.

Greenlee grinned, "Sophomore year is over!"

"And you still don't know your major," Kameron teased with a sneering smile.

"I'm living by the seat of my pants!"

"Your pants are sure getting around," Sicily gave a sultry smile.

Greenlee's mouth opened to a small 'o' as she just stared, wide eyed, at Sicily. Sicily tossed her head back and laughed out loud at Greenlee. Greenlee gave a small smile as she rolled her eyes.

"Oh come on Gree, don't roll your eyes at me, we all know it's true!"

"Shove it," Greenlee said playfully, her face was growing redder and redder. Sicily secretly felt bad, but guilt rarely got to her.

"How do you feel you did on the Macro Final, Sicily?" Kameron politely changed the subject for Greenlee's sake.

"Horrible!" Sicily was close to shouting, "I'm terrible in that class, I don't see why I'm going to use it as a Journalist!"

"Well, you were thinking about minoring in Business as a backup plan, weren't you?"

"True, true."

Kameron smiled, though she never said it, she loved being right.

Sicily heard a faint intro to the song, "Goodies" by Ciara, and recognized it as her cell phone ring. She fumbled through her purse and found her phone, she pushed the button for silencer then flipped it open. It automatically turned on. Before placing it to her ear, she realized it was her mom calling. "Hello?"

On the other side of the phone her mother replied, completely sloshed, "Hello! Guess what I'm doing?!" Sicily's mother was talking extremely loud, and she knew Greenlee and Kameron could hear her on the other end.

"Hold on," she whispered to her friends as she got up and walked towards the bathrooms. "Mother, what's wrong with you?"

"Guess! Guess what I'm doing!"

"I don't know, "Sicily said sternly.

"I'm waiting for John to get out of the shower!" at this point, she let out a fit of giggles, "And I'm naked!"

"Mother, who is John?"

"I don't know!" She laughed out loud.

"Do you need to tell me anything?" Sicily was getting annoyed, and she wasn't hiding it.

"NO!" Her drunk mother shouted through the phone.

Sicily slapped her phone closed and walked back to her table, calming herself down on the way back.

Kameron gave a gentle smile as Sicily walked back to the table. Sicily returned the smile, pretending as if nothing ever happened.

"I was talking to Kam," Greenlee chimed in, "about going up to Ventura to see my family for a few days, I was thinking we could make it into a road trip! Head up to Ventura, see my family, then hang out for a few weeks in L.A. and Hollywood! What do you think, Sicily?"

Sicily thought about it for a moment, nothing would hold her back, "Sure!"

"Great!" Greenlee was grinning from ear to ear, "I'll let my family know tonight!"
