Chapter Four: How it Happened, Part 2

"Thank you for taking me in Jeremy." Casey said gratefully.

"No problem. Call if you need anything, okay?" He asked, and immediately Casey nodded, smiling.

After their short parting conversation, Casey waved good bye and walked up to the door of his house. Jeremy just sat there in silence and self-pity. Of course he didn't want to give up the younger boy, why would he? Casey was in his eyes all the time because he was exactly what Jeremy wanted the whole time. Then, the one time that he had the chance, he didn't even make a move. Sighing in defeat, Jeremy started up the car again, and drove off.

'When I said that he would be with me always… I didn't mean physically. I know that will never happen, no matter how much I hope for it.' He thought sadly.

Later That Night

Jeremy looked over to the clock and sighed deeply. It had only been four hours since he had seen Casey, and he was already planning on going back and making something up to get him to stay there again. But before he could plan that out any further, his phone rang from the kitchen. Groaning lazily, he stood up from the sofa he was laying on, and ran to the phone just in time.

"Jeremy…:" A soft voice called from the other line.

"C-Casey?" He asked shocked. He could now hear the sound of loud sobs coming from the other line. "Casey why are you crying?"

"M-my parents are fighting again, a-and my girlfriend just broke up with me…sh-she said that I had nothing she wanted…and knew someone else who did…"

"I-I'm so sorry Casey…" He lied. He was just plainly happy that Casey wasn't taken anymore.

"C-Could you come pick me up…you know the park"

"I know the place. I'll be there in about 5 minutes." Then they both hung up.

Casey slowly got up from his placement in the closet, and opened the doors. He walked out, and tip-toed over to the window nearby, and opened it very cautiously. Then, just before he slipped out, he leaned over to his bed and grabbed his jacket. He jumped out the window landing on the flat roof for the floor below his room, and jumped down onto the car, then onto the ground.

As Casey was making his was over to the park, Jeremy had just gotten into his car, and began driving. All he could think about was how easy it would be to get Casey to stay there with him if this kind of thing was going on all the time. Especially because of the face, that he was probably vulnerable at the time.

Once Casey arrived at the park, Jeremy was already there. He was leaning against his car waiting patiently for him to arrive.

"Casey, are you okay?" He asked.

"Y-yeah…I'll be okay. But I was wondering if I could stay with you for a while again. I don't want to go near that house for a long time."

"Of course you can. Come on, lets go."

(At Jeremy's House)

Jeremy and Casey walked through the door into the warmth of the house, and sighed with relief from the cold. Casey's tears had frozen from the brisk winter winds and falling snow. As they both began walking towards the living room, Jeremy grabbed Casey's wrist softly and turned him around.

"Are you going to be okay? You've been crying since I picked you up."

"I-I don't know…"

"Well…I bet I can make you feel better."

Casey looked up wide-eyed and began to back away very slowly. Jeremy just smiled and began waling towards him just as slow as he was walking away. But when Casey ran out of places to back up to, Jeremy slammed his palms on both sides of Casey's face. His eyes were half way open, and he had a smirk on his face still. Then he slowly moved forward so their faces were just so far apart. Then, closing his eyes completely, he pressed his lips to Casey's. At first Casey didn't like the feeling, and began struggling to break apart from Jeremy. But after realizing that he couldn't move, what with being pinned to the wall and all, he accepted it, and got used to it. Then eventually, he began to return the gesture.

(Back to present time)

That is how their relationship began in the first place. How did it become so brutal and abusive?

Casey had been walking home from school with some girl, and of course being the obsessor he is, Jeremy was watching. Then to his surprise, they both kissed, and then she walked off, and Casey came inside the house. Jeremy went completely off the deep end with it, and was then completely untrusting of Casey since then. He figured the only way to make sure that Casey would never do such a thing again, was to show him what would happen if he did.

A/N: Sorry if that chapter was a little rushed. I'll try and make the next one better. .
