The blanket was draped like snow,
Only warm and never cold
My best friends are on it sleeping in tiny balls,
Living in their dreams of large mice filled halls.
I like to sit and watch them sleep
Their eyes they do not open not even a peep.
Their paws twitch and their ears shake,
Dreaming of milk filled ice cream cakes.
When I curl up next to them they raise their heads in greeting
Then I fall asleep and join them in their mice filled dreaming.
