A/N: Okay this is a really short chapter… sorry! Anyways I hope you like it… here it is!
Chapter 1:
I sat at the top of the building as the rain poured down. I shut my eyes and saw him, the next person on the list. His name was Greg Richards. He was with a girl at the moment. It was his girlfriend. She was beautiful but I wasn't attracted to her. I was never physically attracted to anyone.
I jumped off the building and spread my wings. I flew to Greg's house and perched on his window sill. At this point in time he was beating his girlfriend. She was crying and he was yelling. I watched for a while then slowly walked in through the window. The girl was crouched in the corner, bleeding.
"Who the hell are you!?" Greg yelled at me as I sauntered towards him. I pulled the glove off my left hand, "My name is Angel, and technically that's what I am. I'm the angel of death and I am here to kill you."
"Yeah right! I'm so scared. Oooh death!"
I stared at him for a moment then ran my fingers through my silver and black hair, "It doesn't help that you beat your girlfriend but I really do need to kill you, Greg. I don't care whether or not you believe me."
"I'd like to see you try," he crossed his arms all tough guyishly.
I shook my head as I raised my left hand. I softly touched his chest with my outstretched hand and he fell to the floor. He was dead and when his girlfriend realized this she was overtaken with fear.
"Remy, don't be scared, I'm not gonna hurt you. I came here to kill Greg and I'm gonna fix what he's done," I put my glove back on and walked to the corner. I kneeled down next to her and ran my hand over her bleeding head, healing the wound instantly. She looked at me, still crying, still beautiful. I felt this shot through my heart that I had never felt before. I wiped away her tears, "Don't cry, you'll be okay."
"You ki-kil-killed him. Just like that. What the hell are you and how do you know my name?"
"I am death and the reason I know you name is from watching him."
"Who, Greg?" she asked as he sniffled.
"Yeah."
"Why?"
"Because I had to figure him out."
"What do you mean? What's there to figure out about a drunk who jacks off to much?"
"Nothing really. He was just kind of complex I guess."
"How?"
"I don't know, he just was," I stood up and walked to the window. I looked back to her, "You can't tell anyone about me. Nobody's ever seen me before so I've never had to say this but you understand, right?"
"I guess."
"Okay, that's good. See you when you die," I jumped out the window.
When I got home, two or three hours later, I was completely out of it. I retracted my wings and pulled off my shirt as I entered my room. She was there as I unbuttoned my pants and stepped into my room.
"Why hello there, Angel Boy," she was wearing a little black nightie. It appeared to be made out of silk or something. She was so beautiful but I couldn't be attracted to her, it was against the rules.
"Hello… how did you get here?" I was really confused.
"You were the only Angel in the whole city. I thought I'd stop by and say hello."
"Okay, you've done that, goodbye," I waved slightly.
"I'm not leaving you know," she lay down on my bed, "I'm staying here with you."
"Why?" I was confused beyond belief. Why would this girl want to stay with the guy who just killed her boyfriend?
"Because you're cute," okay… so she was shallow, well kind of.
"I'm not attractive. Besides, I kill people. I'll have to kill you someday."
"I can live with that. And you are attractive, really attractive. I don't think I've ever seen a man as pretty as you."
"Pretty?" this did not help my confusion at all. Who calls a man pretty?
"Yes, pretty. I don't usually call guys pretty but you were a definite exception," she got up and walked to me. Her lips met mine and her hands touched my hips. My pants fell to the ground and I was left there, standing in my boxers. She finally pulled away, "So?" she wanted me to analyze the kiss. Shit! It was my first, how was I supposed to know how it was?
