Chapter Three
Chakara woke to a beautiful sounding voice, singing as if her life depended on it. Her first reaction was that her anoying little sister had the radio blasted, once again, because Chakara was sleeping in. But, after she remember where she was she began slowly opening her eyes, trying to adjust to the light that was now pouring through the window across from her.
As she sat up she saw the beautiful girl to whom the voice belonged. She was tall, slim, with blues eyes, and blonde hair. A life size barbie doll some would say. She had the face of an angel and a voice to match, if not surpass, it. Now, by her voice anyone would make the mistake to think she was even older then Chakara. But with one look at her, you would see how wrong you were. At only about 4"5, with a face that screams second grader, it was obvious this beautiful talent was no older then seven or eight. As the little girl relized she had an audience she became instantly silent. She finished dusting the selves she had been working on when Chakara awoke, then quickly left, leaving Chakara both stunned and full of questions.
Only moments later she re-apeared carrying a tray of food. "Daddy says you should eat and get some of your energy back." She said softly as she sat the tray on a table near the bed in which Chakara occupied. Chakara smiled and introduced herself. In responce the little girl simply said her name was Jennifer but she had to go do her homework and left before Chakara could compliment her singing and beauty. Being alone again, Chakara began to eat, wondering about too many things at once and began to feel her head hurt again.
