Savior

Crowded soldiers march the land.

Killing as many innocents as they can.

No one here to give them the key.

Instead their reward is misery.

---------------------------------------------------------------

I don't know where to hide.

All I know is that I'm never on their side.

Every night I dream of the day,

When I see everyone has their own thing to say,

Instead of dying every moment of my life.

---------------------------------------------------------------

It's all the same to them,

We're just another shadow in their eyes.

So they make us scream so loud, we hear each other cries,

Even though we're deaf from all the pain.

We're just another person to be slain.

---------------------------------------------------------------

How do I know when I'm forgiven?

I just pray every night when I try to figure out where I've been.

They crowd the streets finding me in a corner of the street.

Next thing I know I'm dragged along because I have no feet.

The torture they given to me,

Is so painful you wouldn't dare have a look to see.

---------------------------------------------------------------

I don't know where to hide.

All I know is that I'm never on their side.

Every night I dream of the day,

When I see everyone has their own thing to say,

Instead of dying every moment of my life.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Where's the Savior that they promised to us all?

He hasn't shown his face so we all just fall,

From the bullets of every man,

That carries them in their hand.

We're just another shadow in their eye,

So every night I'd hear someone cry.

---------------------------------------------------------------

In this world, I cry.

Every time I see them die.

It's just too painful to see,

And I know that one day it will happen to me.

The Savior let us down.

So never will I trust in him to take away our enemy's crown.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Fire in the land that we once called home,

The soldier now go wherever they want to roam.

The brave ones try to fight back,

But all they do is have failed attack.

I've given up my hope of this war.

I don't see what reason we fight for.

---------------------------------------------------------------

I don't know where to hide.

All I know is that I'm never on their side.

Every night I dream of the day,

When I see everyone has their own thing to say,

Instead of dying every moment of my life.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Where's the Savior that they promised to us all?

He hasn't shown his face so we all just fall,

From the bullets of every man,

That carries them in their hand.

We're just another shadow in their eye,

So every night I'd hear someone cry.
